So Chicago has a new Mayor and yesterday and this morning I have seen a few articles about it and I wonder what she is going to do to improve the city. So far all I know about her and all I have read is that she is the 1st black female and the first openly gay mayor. I could careless that she is black or female or gay. None of that means anything to me. I want to know what she is going to do to stop the violence, clean up the city, stop the corruption. How is she going to make the city a better place to live and visit? Her race, gender, and sexual preference is none of my concern and I'm guessing since she was elected it was not the concern of many people, they just want someone that is going to help the city. I hope she does great things. Media please do us a favor and tell us what she is doing not what color her skin is or what she is doing in her bedroom. I really don't think any of those things are going to make her a better or worse mayor.
