Binx is in the habit of being held whenever his canine siblings go outside to take care of their business. You know he is ready to go outdoors when he is standing by the back door and meowing. Of course this can also mean his food dish is empty, but most of the time it's the former. No sooner did my friends back out of the driveway and there was binx telling me he wanted to go outside.
I told him he couldn't, not yet, but when I let the dogs out I'd take him. So an hour later and I was picking him up from his chair and carrying him out with me. He looked around a few times and wanted to get down but I told him no and held him a little more securely. He soon got the message and contented himself with looking around.
Now he's bathing in the sun, I'm sure just waiting until the next time I let the dogs out.

He's currently the king of the castle as he sits in the reclining chair.

@Nevena83 Not in the least. The black cat will go lay under one of the dogs to get "chewed on". it's quite cute.

I had a black kitty when I was a child (I also had a pure white one at one point). Black cats are gorgeous!

This one has no white spot on him at all. I had a midnight blue / grey colored cat as a child. The neighbors had a pure white one named Fluffy,we ended up adopting it as the husband was not a fan of the cat. She wouldn't come into our house but we made sure we fed her.

@SophiaMorros I wonder if someone didn't find her and decide to keep her for their own? Cats are loyal to whoever feeds them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum The white cat, named Marshmallow, was my first pet. She vanished one winter. I had the black kitten as a teenager and named him Zwarte Piet (after Sinterklaas's helper) I don't remember what happened to him....

It sounds like Binx has you well trained. My cat is like a baby who gets fussy certain times of the day for unknown reasons. I wish they had a pacifier for cats..lol.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? Binx is usually pretty laid back. I think he's pretty content now, He's been outside twice.

He's a sweet but mischevious boy. I just caught him trying to open one of the doors and I said "Binx, I see what you're doing." He stopped but stayed where he was and looked the other way.

I do not. He is my best friend's cat. I'm pet-sitting for them this week.
