Dream place to live

If you ask me, I would love to live in any city with a beach nearby. I love the sound and sight of ocean. The waves appear to take away all my troubles. What is your dream place to live?

@amitkokiladitya I think about this often. I kinda like all type of living areas. Near the beach, city or country. All seem so appealing for one reason or another. I love the sounds of the ocean too. But I also love the sounds of city life. Especially at night time. Such a hard question lol ....ok I pick city and close to the beach like you picked. I guess I'm not THAT picky just yet though. A place of my own appeals very much to me. Anywhere affordable and safe is fine to me. And of course being near family, close friends, stores and doctors will be great too.

I would still prefer a coastal area. The ocean can't replace anything in my life.

@amitkokiladitya The ocean is so beautiful. The look and the sounds. Just precious! @arunima25 That sounds lovely too. I do love to be around nature. Can be very peaceful.

I prefer a fjord, 'cause living by the ocean here means lot of salty, cold winds. With a fjord, you get the water and slightly less wind than by the ocean.

@amitkokiladitya It's a long stretch of water going into a land. It's usually narrow where the fjord meets the sea and can get wide further in. Fjords are made by glaciers, so they're deep where they start but can be quite shallow near the sea, because the glaciers melt when they come in contact with sea water (at least often) and then they leave all the rubble they've brought along.

I really want to live near the water. A beachfront property of at least a canal near but a pool is what I would absolutely want.

@amitkokiladitya I don't like somewhere close to the sea because it could be hot sometimes and it dries up the skin.
