No mood to chat..

In a matter of few weeks I will be at my mom's place and we will be there for five days. This is the most exciting part of vacation for my daughters.
Not only they are looking forward to all the pampering by their grandma but also they are super excited to meet Boogie.
My daughters always video call my mom to talk to Boogie and she is all hyperactive seeing them on video. She will bark in different tones and textures for each question my younger one asks. Boogie shows some favoritism for my younger one over other family members and my little girl proudly boasts of it. 
But today Boogie was not well. She hurt her ear flaps in the iron gate and it bleeded badly. The vet had to clean up the hurt and she is on painkillers and antibiotics.
So today evening when my daughters called to have a chat with Boogie, she was in no mood to chat. She was troubled by pain and was restless. Looking at her, my daughters were really disturbed.
Now my mom has sent a picture of Boogie sleeping peacefully. This picture made my daughters feel a little better as they were assured that she is no more in pain.
Look at her how peacefully she sleeps. I hope that she feels better when she gets up.
I am also feeling sleepy now
I will be here till I can and soon I will slip into slumber.

Oh! You have a pet dog. What breed??
We meet Boogie once in a year for few days and she remembers us well. We are received excitedly by her.

@arunima25 I feed stary dogs.. One is a hybrid of Golden retriever..disowned by his master and other are just stray dogs.. I have posted discussions of how they came and their behavior

She was willing to talk to my younger one but all the movement and wagging of tail in excitement moved her ear and she couldn't bear it. She just chose to lie down. Today she is much better. Two more days of medicine to go.

@arunima25 It is wonderful to be able to speak for frree or almost free when you have relatives a long way away. We can speak to our son in Ireland at very little cost. So different to a decade ago.

She is a little better today. My younger one called soon after her breakfast to get updates. We still have 20 more days and I am sure she will be fine by then.
And sure these free video calls by WhatsApp comes with this advantage.

@JudyEv Very true! When I stayed abroad I would call my mom only twice a week and that too I used to keep a check on time. Now we go on and on.

She is a little better today. Thank you for your concern. Yes my mom and Boogie are good company to each other and they really take good care of each other.
