An Auburn California businessman is counting his blessings after he made a huge error in placing around $14,000 dollars on the wheel of his auto when he drove off forgetting that he had the money that he was going to most likely deposit in a bank. Jill James who happened to be in the area where the missing money was seen flying in the air on Old Airport Road decided to do what is right and with the help of another woman who was in the same area, take the money and place it inside a bag to be taken to the Auburn Police to report the money that was recovered on the street. The businessman who lost the $14,000 dollars on the street reported the loss of the money to the local police that same day. The Placer County Sheriff's Office were able to confirm the amount of money that was lost by the businessman as a true story when the businessman were able to prove that the money that he lost due to his error in judgement was his. Placer County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Victor Pecoraro is thankful that Jill did not fall into the temptation of taking money that was not hers to begin with. Thanks to the power of social media, Jill is being praised for her honesty of not stealing money that was not hers to begin with in the first place since she believes in karma.

Now that is one honest person. And a good person. Not many people would have done what she did. But it was the right thing to do. Too bad America has become a hard place to live these days. We need more people like her.

Jill must have raised as a person who believes that doing good deeds will be rewarded down the line. You are right that there too many greedy people in our world today.

@Deepizzaguy I am sure she was raised well. And I think everyone should have the opportunity to be raised in a proper home.

That's really nice. I'm sure the business man was very relieved to get his money back.

I am sure that the businessman who lost his money will be wiser not to place his money on a wheel of his auto again.

I hope he learned his lesson and is more careful in the future.

I am just wondering what was he doing placing his money on a wheel of his own auto?
