I am here petsitting my friends animals.. Meanwhile I get intermittent shots of the ocean, her drinking a nice frozen beverage, or a delicious looking breakfast.
I just finished a microwaveable croissant myself.
Nah, I mean, sure I'd love to be there with her, but honestly? I like the pictures just as much. One of these days though, one of these days I'll take a cruise....

Lots of people enjoy cruises, including our children, but I'm still not sold on them.

I keep getting pictures of the ocean and the various activities they are doing. I want to go on one once.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Our kids have been on so many, if I ever did go on one, I think I'd try a five day cruise first.

@1creekgirl That's actually what my friend is on right now. She left on Thursday and rented an AirBNB in South Carolina. They got on the boat yesterday and will be back here on Tuesday.

I remember us discussing this before. I imagine that I will have to get used to the sounds and boisterousness that would come from a cruise. Even so, I'd really love to go on one.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It was not the sounds and boisterousness that annoyed us, but the long waiting every time you had to disembark and get back aboard. We also like freedom, having turns to go to eat was not something we liked.

Sounds like us. I might could enjoy a short one, maybe, but my husband hates the idea.

I do enjoy a good cruise. I hope to go on at least one or two more.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Bermuda and the Bahammas. I would not recommend Bermuda, but maybe it was just the time of year..and A day cruise out of Tampa that was just into international waters though, a day event. Plus some local stuff..in VA.

@snowy22315 That all sounds like a lot of fun. Why not Bermuda?

If I go on one... it will be all by myself as hubby won't set foot on one. Maybe we will just have to go together ;)

There's a plan! They have ones that go between Canada and the US, the waterway up there.

My friend is going there now, this is her second cruise! She sends me photos and then says "Oh, wait, I'm not like gloating am I?"
I told her "are you kidding me? I'm already figuring out how to save to go with you guys next year!"

@simone10 I am sure that I would. I have a smartypig account (it's a sallie mae bank), it's just for saving towards things. Trips, homes, home improvement, etc... You put money in and you draw interest. I don't hardly use it but I just deposited $10.00 into it. I have $36.00 now and $46.00 once it goes through. Not much, but I'll keep adding to it. I might consider putting my mylot savings in there.

There are several different ones I'd like to experience. I think just being out in the open water would be amazing.

I have never been on a Cruise. Aren't they a little pricey?
