Movie review: Get Low

We just watched the movie Get Low with Robert Duvall and Bill Murray. It's based on a true story of a hermit in the US during the 1920's. It was so good! Felix Bush decided to throw a funeral party while he was still alive. I don't want to spoil it with details, but it was really one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I love true stories and it added a few incidentals, I'm sure, but it was very moving and on some levels, a movie most of us could relate to. I've always said I'd love to have my funeral while I could be there to enjoy (?) it. We came close to that when we had a big 80th birthday party for my grandmother. She was a queen and glowed through the whole thing! Most of the people, relatives and neighbors made it such a special celebration for her and she was able to hear all the nice things said about her that she couldn't hear later at her funeral.
