Here we are for the third week in a row, trying to get someone to finish our screen room without us having to "rob a band" so to speak. When we started this project we thought by now we would be sitting in our screen room fully decorated sitting back and enjoying a glass of sweet tea.
One half of the area is all screened in and looking good. The other half, for some reason was turned into a storage room with metal walls and such. We want the whole area - 24ft by 12ft to be screened in.
We have gotten estimates anywhere from 2,000 to 4,300 dollars. Not happening. I think my hubby will end up doing it himself We were hoping to have someone else do the work but...that's how it goes.
Oh well, I guess it is what it is. So how is it going in your household? Are you having a good day? I hope so.

It is ridiculous the prices that people want to do things. I end up guilting my kids or son in law for most things.

It used to be a whole screen room when we first bought it 20+ years ago. During those years we rented it and then my mother and her friend moved into it. Now my mother is gone and I have retired and we decided to move into it. Somewhere during the 20+ years someone decided to use half of it for a storage room and put up sheet metal walls and a metal door. I want it all to be a screen room again.
