Swollen feet and parsley.

I came back from a weekend of eating out with very swollen feet. The cherry in that cake was a big dish of French fries that we asked at the restaurant on Sunday because the children were very hungry. For some reason, the fries came salted and with a lot of salt. And when salt is added just after taking them out of the oil, they get more salty.
At home I take care of the salt I eat. And my feet have been fine for some time. Leticia was shocked when she saw them.
She is a person who knows a lot of natural remedies like many other people here who don´t have much money. She made me put my feet up and got all the parsley we had in the fridge and used it in cooking.
Parsley is a powerful natural diuretic. And much better and with less side effects than any pill you can take.
She made delicious parsley chimichurri to have with bread and the rest was finely diced with the chicken liver we had for lunch. There is some left, so I will have them cold with bread for breakfast today.
I was peeing the rest of the day and my feet gradually went back to almost their original size. I suppose I will have to wait a couple of days for them to return to their normal size.
Did you know about the properties of parsley? Do you use it as a diuretic?

We would spend less money in meds if we used some natural medicines.

Leticia is not my daughter. She is my maid. She knows a lot about natural meds because she does not usually have enough money for doctors.

I didn't know parsley worked as a diuretic. Glad it worked quickly for you.
Usually I drink tea when I eat too much salt

Try parsley too. Leticia said it did not have a good taste in an infusion but she used it in such a way that it was delicious.

I think parsley can also give you healthy hair and skin. I love to munch raw parsley.
