She is a social worker for a hospice organization. It is a tough job, and frankly, you need people in jobs like that.
She helps families adjust to losing loved ones. She also is the social worker for the kids program, which helps parents deal with losing their children.
Tough job!
I am proud of her! Anyone proud of their partner? What does your partner do?

@DocAndersen He worked hard, but when I met him (he was 24), he was the youngest Associate of the Financial Office where I went to work.

Yes, your wife has a very exceptional job. I can imagine it is stressful at times. My husband has been in law enforcement since we have been married. That has been stressful for both of us. They are never off duty. We have had neighbors knock on the door before with crazy stull like a man is living in woods on vacant lot which was true. We have also had a neighbor knock on door in her gown in the middle of winter with freezing temperatures with her newborn saying her husband locked her out of the house. I have learned to expect the unexpected!

That is definitely a tough job. My husband works Canada Post. He works at the big sorting facility here. It's not the easiest job, as it is physically depending and he works nights, which isn't always the easiest. It's not always the easiest, but he keeps going and I am proud of him.

@DocAndersen He says a similar thing. He is very often tired. If not always.

Your wife has a very hard job. I would not trade places with her.
Yes, I am proud of my spouse. We had difficulties earlier in our marriage. Outside interference. No fault of our own. I became unwell. He didn't desert me. He hung in there and took care of me. Often times spouses desert you when things are rosy. They like roses. But one thorn prick and they go Bye Bye!!
