This coffee tastes awful

Tonight my husband told me a story from one his jobs. He worked on a ferry and he and his coworkers were not allowed to drink alcohol while they worked. One of his coworkers thought he had found the perfect solution. He mixed alcohol and coffee, and when they drank it looked like ordinary coffee. They all worked in the kitchen and they were allowed to drink the rest of the coffee from the restaurant. One day the boss showed up in the kitchen, and he decided that he also wanted a cup of coffee. He drank their special coffee and then he said: "There is something wrong with this coffee, It tastes awful. You need to replace all of the coffee in the restaurant. We can't give this horrible coffee to the customers." The boss never discovered the truth about the "horrible" coffee
