Here it is - my new camera, which arrived today. Needless to say, the photo was taken with my old camera!
This is a step up for me, as my previous camera was what is known as a "bridge" camera and this Olympus EM-10 has many more bells and whistles as well as the possibility of changing lenses, which I couldn't do with my Fujifilm Finepix.
I went on a 1 day photography course a couple of weeks ago and was impressed with seeing this model of camera being used by one of the other students. It was much more compact than the Canon and Nikon cameras being used by the others.
One small problem with the Olympus camera (and possibly the other makes) is that it uses a non-standard battery (i.e. not AA) so I have ordered a back-up for cover purposes - I will only be able to tell from experience what the battery life is with the one that is supplied with the camera.
There is a lot to learn, but I hope to be able to take some great photos in future!

Congrats! Camera looks great, hope you'll have lot of fun with it
I think it seems like cameras always come with non-standard batteries. Non of mine have, and all of them have different batteries so I have a lot of chargers. I think one reason might be that a camera needs the battery to be on full power to work, so it can't decharge like a normal battery.
