Photo of the Day (Saint Anne’s)

Sonora, California
April 11, 2019 2:50pm CST
Saint Anne’s Catholic Church was the first brick Church built in California, built in 1856 it has been remodeled several times. But it still keeps the character that I was originally joined by the minors! Including a Marble stairway Two giant Italian Cypress trees stand overlooking the Cemetery! The mural was painted by James Falon, the son of a local businessman in the mid nineteenth century, his Father was one of the founders of The Falon House Theatre & Hotel still in operation today!
