Well I know I am late but 30 dollars for an Avengers Ticket on opening weekend?

So my twins and I want to go see the Avengers End Game Movie. I thought I would go and reserve tickets for the opening weekend. Fandango said the theater was sold out for my first choice. I went to my second choice, sold out. Then I saw a link on the page (get tickets here) so I clicked on it. I could get 3 tickets for us, at 30 dollars a piece. I decided not to buy them. I know the movies cost more now than before. But 30 bucks for a movie? I mean I want to see it and all, but that feels way to high!

That is horrible! It's going to be a popular movie. I may see it one day but in no hurry.

They will continue to jack prices as long as people will pay.

I heard some of the places where the actors were appearing, people were paying 2200 or more

That's true, movie tickets are quite costly now. My daughter though did purchase tickets for us. She is a Marvel fan. If I have my way, I will wait on netflix upload. But since I am not paying, might as well enjoy the final installment.

Seriously??? Thirty bucks? When you can buy the DVD for half that in six months (and watch it in the comforts of home)????

I've heard some places are charging even more! Who knows anymore. We aren't going until prices are normal again!

I think you were right not to buy, $30 for a movie is too much. I know that the regular price in Italy is $10, it is more expensive here, almost $ 15. This is why I buy a DVD it costs a lot less than 2 tickets and I like more to watch the movie at home.

We often buy the DVD for the same reasons. But the twins and I wanted to see this one in the theater. Not for now, however.
