You were there
The day
The world
Changed
In a very
Tangible
Way!
You faced the
Fury of hate
And destruction
Upon your city
Risking your life
Without second thought!
You carried
The weight of
That pain that day
As you ran in!
One of the miracle
Sixteen
The last one
To be pulled
Out that
Day
Engrained
In the memories
Of all those
Alive that day.
As you face
Your Last Call
We say
Thank you
Hero!
