Jitendra "Jay" Singh who is an owner of a 7 Eleven store in Toledo Ohio showed his heart of compassion toward a teenager who was caught shoplifting inside his store recently, gave the teen an order to empty his pockets or else he would call the police. When the teenager emptied his pockets, Jay decided not to call the police on the teenager since his claim that he was shoplifting the food for himself and his brother since they were hungry. Jay decided to give the teenager some food that he sells at the store to the teenager instead of calling the police since had the teen gone to jail on shoplifting charges, his chances of getting a job would be ruined for life. Cedric Bishop who was an eyewitness to the incident, has decided to follow the example of Jay and assist the teens in his community to give them some food to the kids so they would not go hungry in his community by buying the food out of his own money.

Jay figured that giving away some food to someone who needed it is better than ruining the kids life with a criminal record.

@just4him I agree with you since all the teen has to do is ask for a favor.

Jay is one of those rare store owners who showed compassion to teenage shoplifters.

Jay does have more compassion than another store owner who will not tolerate shoplifting.

Jay must be a person who sees that giving away a few meals to someone who needs it will not harm his business.
