The last full day before my book is launched and before my Tuesday Night coach trip to London, seeing the sites and taking photos prior to the Yyeterbium Eastercon science fiction starting at weekend.
I bought some last minutes supplies, used the community centre computers for printing poems and stories I may read out during convention events and did more packing ready for the trip.
The best news was that the twice needlessly postponed radio interview I had for promoting my book, finally aired, ad came across very well. The producer who both promised its earlier presentations and single-handedly cancelled it, notified me of the broadcast, though I did hear it live before that. I decided that as I have no further intention to work with her on any promotion I would block her on Facebook, but she actually blocked me before I could.
I shared links to the interview on Facebook and Twitter and settled back to chill for the rest of the evening.
The saddest events came from the news, the death of a favourite writer, Gene Wolfe and Notre Dame Cathedral burning down.

Notre Dame is such an icon, isn't it? It's very sad. Good luck for the launch and I hope you have a great time away.

I'm glad your interview finally aired. Good luck on your trip. The pictures of Notre Dame are horrific.
