Jeremiah Peterson, 40, who calls Missoula Missouri his home credits his three children to inspire him to lose 92 pounds by getting rid of alcoholic beverages and going on a ketogenic diet and take hikes for five straight months. Jeremiah knew he had to get into better physical shape starting in 2017 when his three children were able to take hikes on trails with ease while he was exhausted just trying to keep up with them. Jeremiah went on a mission for five straight months to a hiking trail so he could shed the pounds that made it hard for him to keep up with his children on hiking trails. It is nice to see a father who is concerned about his health by learning to cut back on bad drinking and eating habits so he could be with his children and serve as their role model.

That's great he did that. He'll appreciate his efforts as he also expanded his life with his good food choices.

@Deepizzaguy I give his kids credit for helping him lose weight. I hope he can keep it off. Good for him. He looks good in the after picture.

@Deepizzaguy I am glad he cares about his kids but he has to lose it for himself and hopefully keep it off. If you lose weight for someone else you do not necessarily keep it off.

So he becomes conscious about his health for his children. Good starting. Hats off to him. Very few people are there who really think of their health including me. Lol.

I can relate to you since I am trying to shed some pounds myself to put down some health problems related to my thyroid.

That's great to hear, very good for him! I have done the Keto diet myself in the past, and currently do low carb, if not Keto.

Losing weight is great since the medical bills from taking medicines will be lowered greatly.

@Deepizzaguy Yes that is true, the doctors usually prescribe pills and instruct to eat more carbs, but those keep us sick...and needing even more pills! Keto lowers the need for pills and doctor visits!

I can relate to his challenges since being overweight is bad for anyone's health.

Working out by hiking on a trail does flatten the belly.
