2019 Health Journey -- Day 107 (April 17th)

Hello everyone, hope you had a great Wednesday! I am back to share my food/blood sugar/macros for the day.
Fasting blood sugar: 91
Meal 1: 120 (after meal 1, and the snack at Eli's school)
Meal 2: 132
Meal 3: 65
For my first meal I had a monster biscuit, no biscuit from Carl's Jr. I also had a handful of fries.
2 hours later I did have a snack of some Chinese noodles, Eli wanted us to stay with him for lunch at his school. I wouldn't call it a meal since it was mostly just a scoop of noodles. Had a little milk too, about 1/4 of a cup.
Much later, for dinner, we had breakfast for dinner. Eggs, sausage, and bacon. I did have 1 small pancake...but I stuck to that. I did add a little chocolate spread to it.
Then, for a late snack (8 PM) I had some deli turkey breast and a string cheese.

Calories: 1,387
Protein: 77
Fat: 97
Net Carbs: 38
Still low carb technically, but higher than I'd normally like (25 or less). I don't think I did too bad, and my sugars were a bit higher than normal (on low carb) but not extreme. How do you think I did?
How did you all do today, have anything good and/or healthy to eat?

Thank you, but the few extra carbs I did eat shows how much carbs really affect me.
Sounds like you had some good meals, even though what you wanted didn't thaw out in time. Hopefully you enjoy it today!

@MommyOfEli2013 I'm getting ready to make it and then realized I don't have any tomato sauce, which I need to make sloppy joes, so I'll have to figure out what to do with the pound of hamburger.

@just4him Oh no, sorry to hear that! Not sure what all is allowed on your diet, or what ingredients you have....so wouldn't know what to suggest!

Any day that you try is a good day. Nothing exciting for me. Hopefully I will have a broccoli salad today.

@MommyOfEli2013 I did have my broccoli salad. My husband made it out of frozen broccoli though; and the broccoli was filled with brown and black spots..and it was a name brand. Yechh.

That's a good point, I know today I may have a bit more carbs, but not going overboard. Sorry you didn't have anything exciting....hope you get to have your salad.

Your food sounds good, I had a Banana this morning, and then forgot to eat till 4, when I had a small burrito, and a taco for dinner, I had a handful of trail mix a little while ago!
