Update: My friends pan

I talked to her last night and she said she took it out of the fridge and it still wouldn't open. So she had to go out so she left it sitting on the stove in the air conditioned room till she got back........still didn't work! So she put the pan on simmer mode on the stove for two hours, still didn't work errrrrr! Then she turned the temp up and went in the other room and heard a pop sound. She thought the lid popped off, but it didn't! She took the table knife and pryed it open.....finally.
