Every once and awhile the outside of my ear hurts, the boney skin area. And the ear whole and all the bones swell up too.
making it impossible for a doctor to look in the ear.
This happens just every once and awhile for a day or so then it goes away.
I had a physical a few months ago and she saw nothing wrong with my ears.
Have you ever had this happen to you? What is it? What causes it? What will make it better?

I get pain in the bony skin area; but it doesn't swell up; so I'm sorry but I can't help you.
