I prefer paper towels to a hand dryer

Most restaurants and hotels have hand dryers in their rest rooms. Rightly so as hand dryers are cheaper. and also they need to clean the room as many irresponsible customers throw paper around after it is used rather than place it in bins.
I will not do that but prefer using paper towels as using a hand dryer is time consuming. Also if there are more in the rest room wanting to use the hand dryer one needs to wait. Many a time the hand dryer does not work.

Hand dryers are supposed to be environmentally friendlier since paper towels will mean a lot of trees will be cut down to make a roll of it. But it’s true paper towels makes you hand feel more dried than having it on the hand drier that may sometimes be very noisy and scandalous when you dry because of the sounds it makes.

Nowadays a lot of stuff is recycled and hopefully that should include hand towels as well.

@allknowing I thinks those brown colored ones are recycled ones the white ones are coming from the virgin pulp meaning from a freshly cut trees.

@allknowing Well this is not an option, how do I hide the towel when I go to eat in an elegant restaurant, I use a small handbag in those cases.

Sometimes I don't mind my hands are little wet, after all, they will be dry after a while. As I think this is the most environmental way
If I have to choose, I will use hand dryer as paper towels are not very environmental in my opinion.

I cannot stand wet hands. I have towels all around here. (lol) Paper towels are the need of the day in hotels

I also prefer paper towel for the above reasons. And also because it leaves your skin too dry.

Many say that Hand dryers are more environmental friendly than paper towels but yes it is frustrating when the dryers do not work sometimes.
