It seems they might have some festivals and gathered for the same. I never found ants in this place before. I don't know from where they comes. I used salt, turmeric but nothing worked. Today I remember @arunima25 advice, vinegar and baking soda keep ants away, i tested and they disappeared . Hope they won't back again. Thank you @arunima25 How do you keep ants away?

I am glad it worked. They also say that a few cloves around the kitchen shelf keep them away.

But now they find another place and my son teased me on the same. He told me they are brilliant than you they know how to find another way. I will do the same trick tomorrow every where. I also planned to clean the floor with vinegar. I will win.

We are used to grow up with different kinds of ants in our native place. So we have a custom to feed ants when there is celebrations. But my problem, when they came inside home. In Delhi I never encountered problems with ants. But this new home(we shifted in January) they are disturbing much.

@LowRiderX I also found on Internet. Spreading the blue poison is not an option, this would kill the hedgehogs that eat the slugs, poor things.

Wow that's great-glad something worked for you! Here we are having a flea problem! Our pets have flea collars that work great but the fleas are so bad in our yard-I think we are giving them rides inside!!

I mixed them both then rub the same on the wall where they made their path. They disappeared quickly but later I seen they made another way. The smell is not tolerable (vinegar's) that may keep them away.

@rakski They are coming on the top side so it will be difficult to trace their home.

@Sreekala Maybe you have to see where their house is so you can also put there.

But with cockroaches we can easily get rid of them. There is a gel available and they will disappear with the same. But ants are very difficult to handle.
