Yesterday morning when I raised my dining room blind there was orange lines painted on the ground outside my window. And I couldn't remember what the orange stood for, my husband had told me those codes, but I have forgotten.
A friend sent me the color code chart and it says that orange is for "communication". Later there were men digging trenches where the lines were, at another area back there too, I opened the window and asked what they were doing and they didn't speak much english
I opened the window and he motioned something coming down from the sky. I said,"Oh drains?" and he shook his head yes.
Then we saw a man talking to a neighbor and later I asked her what he said and she said that he had heard (rumor) they were improving the sewer system.
So who knows!

They should have informed you being the one who is close in that area and the owner of that part of the land.

I hope it wasn't close to your house, I wouldn't want anyone digging on my land without a conversation before it was started...

@dfollin I'm surprised you were not told before...we get notification before anything is done on our land. The only reasons so far they have been on my land was to trim trees that were messing up the power lines..

Are you a renter or is this a condo? It sounds like it is not a home that you own with land that you own otherwise you would know what was going on. But the landlord should at least have said something.

I would definitely want to know what they were doing if it was on my property.

Huh, guess they should give some kind of notice before doing anything. I mean, this was something that also concerned you and other people. At least, I hope they're doing a good job
