A female driver is lucky to be alive after she was driving her auto on Marietta Street around 3am on Saturday when her auto hit a utility pole which caused her auto to land on its side before it burst into flames. The female driver must have been working the graveyard shift at her job since she fell asleep behind the wheel at the time of the accident. Some Good Samaritans were in the scene of the accident when they rushed out of the auto to take her out of the auto before the fire would have ended her life. Atlanta Police Captain William Ricker reports the lady driver was lucky that she only suffered "a minor scratch" even though the utility pole and her auto were severely damaged.

Falling asleep when driving is the scariest experience I have ever had to deal with.

Around 3am in any major city, the area of motorists in any given area is very scarce.

@marguicha I remember when I had to drive from Pine Louisiana to Metairie Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, driving on a few hours of sleep was very challenging.

It is not her time yet. God has still plans for her.

You have a good point there since how many people are in that area at 3am? Not many.
