My laptop is troubling me today

My keyboard has started acting funny today. Suddenly it just stops typing and I have to restart my laptop again and then the keyboard is fine. Its been so irritating because after typing half the reply I have had to restart the laptop and type the response all over again. I dont know why this is happening. I have restarted the laptop five times in the last hour!!!! Any guess as to what could be the problem?

Is the modem hooked up!! Wish I knew more!! I just fiddle with this stuff and sometimes it works out!!

No its worse today. Had to restart it three times in the last hour. I dont use the laptop much these days except for mylotting and checking my credit card statements.

I guess it is an overheating issue. You might check that the vents are not blocked. If that solves it, better go for a technician.

I checked the laptop all over an did not find it heated. Dont know about vents being blocked... meaning I dont know where to check. I think its best to get a technician to check it out.
