In the Pink!

Hi friends! Today I’m in the pink. That means I’m in very good health and good spirits. It’s a beautiful day in Florida and the beginning of a wonderful week to come. Today I am back in my normal routine. I woke up early and hit the gym with my husband, and came home to shower. I began to work on notifications when a neighbor stopped by with coffee and homemade frittata (eggs) which we all enjoyed here. I suppose she felt that she had to return the favor when we brought her and her husband lunch last month. It was thoughtful, anyway. I’m now doing laundry and will work on notifications. I hope you’re in the pink, too! ~Photo is of our weeping cherry tree taken at our house up north last Spring~

I'm glad you're doing well today. I'll be doing laundry tomorrow. You had a good excuse to pause your time on myLot to enjoy homemade frittata with your neighbor. Beautiful tree.

Thanks, however it seems that every time I sit down to myLot, I get interrupted. It never fails. I will never get to see that tree in bloom again, but at least I have the photo. It was always my favorite tree.

@just4him Unfortunately, the tree doesn't bear fruit. It's just there for its prettiness. lol Sorry you misses out on breakfast with your son, but so glad he stopped by again and again. He sounds like a good kid!

@DianneN I can see why it is your favorite. You'll still enjoy the fruit though when you get home. That's always the way it goes. I took my nap this morning and heard the buzzer on my door and being disoriented with sleep, I missed out on breakfast with my son. He did come over though after I got home, as I needed to go out for a few minutes. He called to say he was on his way over again.

Beautiful tree! I'm glad you are feeling good and that everything is back to normal. I feel that way too. My brother took a vacation last week, then Easter yesterday. I am a creature of habit and am glad to be back in my normal routine.

Wow, that's one stunning tree . And I'm happy you're good and pink, keep it this way . I'm not very pink right now, but I'm ok, I just need some money. But then again, most of us do .

Thank you! I'll never see that tree bloom again, but that's ok. I'd rather be in Florida. I'm sorry you aren't in the pink with money issues and hope you find a way to earn some.

@Kasjnak This tree was split by a storm. My husband pruned it and it grew even more beautiful. And about the money!!!

@DianneN this reminds me of an awesome tree that was cut down a long time ago. Every spring it was blooming like an explosion of colours . After more than 15 years I'm still sad they cut it down . As for the money, I have no problem making them. It just seems I can't keep them .

I feel extra chipper today for some reason. It must be the weather. That is my favorite tree up north. Sadly, I will never be there to see it in bloom again. I guess I should be thankful for what I have in Florida.

You usually seem like you are in the pink! Pretty picture as well--enjoy your day! I am off to do some writing in a bit--and then fold laundry--my least favorite task

Thanks for saying that. I'm usually in the pink, but for some reason, I'm extra pink today. I folded two loads of laundry and am done for the day. See you soon and enjoy the rest of your night!

Beautiful tree. I also did laundry this morning. When it rains like today I am glad to have a dryer.

Thank you! I am happy I have that photo, because I will probably never see it in bloom again. I always use my dryer - rain or shine, except for hand washables and delicate items.

@DianneN I always use my dryer too, it's quicker and easier. I should bring clothing outside in the back yard to hang on a line, where people cannot see them. It's a lot better to use the dryer.

@LadyDuck After hanging laundry on a line years and years ago, I found I didn’t like it. The towels were stiff, bugs got folded into the sheets, and birds pooped on some items. The town we are in now (up north) doesn’t allow clotheslines. I have a little clothesline and drying rack in my laundry room.

@DianneN I did my other errands. I ordered new frames and new reading glasses. I love them and can hardly wait to get them and wear them. I left town and if I go back today to get my new glasses I will check or wait till after the hag is over and when go to my doctor will get what I want there then I hope.

@nela13 Thanks so much. I am having a wonderful time, but have so little time to myLot these last 2 weeks. I'm happy naturally, but have been exuberant this week. Lots of good things and happenings going on with us, our friends, and our family. I live for that.

Yes, it was a good and filling match. We won't see that tree bloom anymore, but will return to our house up north on June 6th for about 6 months. Then we will return to Florida.

@Janet357 Yes. Winter is long over, but it’s still too cool up north for me. It snows in the mountains in California, but it’s pretty warm there, especially in Southern California.
