This song as said as it is, dealt with the very real issue of AIDS at a time when it was still taboo to talk about and certainly to sing about! The song though holds so much power!

A very tragic song indeed. She sings it very well. The one other song that comes to mind which is different but about a person dying from aids is from the movie Philadelphia where Tom Hanks played a man dying of aids and the song of the same name.

This song is so tragic, but an excellent warning at the same time.
This song has so much more depth than the garbage often played on radio these days.
