Last dog at an animal shelter gets adopted by a loving couple in Missouri

Kenny who is a two year old mixed male dog was the last remaining dog in the Wayside Waifs Adaptathon event in Kansas City Missouri when 243 dogs were adopted by loving families recently.
Thanks to the power of social media, the cries for someone to adopt Kenny who came to Wayside Waifs from another overcrowded animal shelter recently found one woman who wanted to adopt Kenny on Friday night.
The woman whose name was not mentioned had a chat with the counselors at Wayside Waifs to adopt Kenny to be the companion of her husband.
On Monday, Kenny was adopted by the couple who will have the friendship of the two year old mixed dog for a long time to come.

That is a wonderful happy ending. If that is Kenny in the photo I see that he is smiling.

That is such a great story with a happy ending. I adopted a 200 pound Newfoundland many years ago. She was the product of a divorce and neither husband or wife had the time or wanted to take care of her. I don't understand how anyone could have bought the dog to begin with if they were not going to commit to caring, feeding and loving this animal. I had her for over a year and she was so loving.

Kenny must have wondered if anyone would adopt him. Thank you for that person to adopt him. I am so happy he has a home.
