Im going dog sitting

I am going to my sons tomorrow to doggy sit as he is off for a night away with the family. I am so looking forward to it. No husband, no daughter , no grandkids, no my own dogs. I love them all dearly but I am home 24/7 with them and want a breather.His two dogs are small and stay out all day and only sleep in at night so I have a whole people free house all to myself for a whole day. I can have a bath without someone wanting to use the loo, I can sit in the garden without the constant sound of mam where is this that or the other , nanny where is my batman costume/ golf set, lol doll etc or wife where is my whatever constant stream of demands and questions not to mention NO housework or picking up after anyone but me. Yippeee. Happy days..

You enjoy it. I know how you feel. I have no kids, but when I am able to get away from the family I live with, I relish it. I'm always picking up after someone here. A few weeks ago I pet-sat at a friend's and had the whole house to myself for days.

It was great. Not one single person anywhere near me for over 24 hours. I wouldn't like it all the time but it was so nice to just stop and have peace.
