Feeling More Like Myself....

Hey there, everyone. I'm tired, but I wanted to make a quick post. I made it pretty obvious that I wasn't feeling myself on Monday and Tuesday. At one point, I thought I was starting to feel better, but I was wrong. Welp, I'm happy to say that today, I've felt more like myself. I guess I just needed to give myself time to ride those emotions, instead of pretending I was fine and nothing was bothering me. I'm not going into what got to me, I'd rather just leave it back at Monday and Tuesday, and start my Thursday without it. I didn't do much out of the usual today. I worked on my writing orders and watched a show with my niece. I do need to walk to Rite-Aid this week for a $1 jar of instant coffee. I'll probably go Friday or Saturday. I have enough to last me until then so I don't need to rush out for it tomorrow or anything. Welp, it's late and I have work to do when I get up, so I'm gonna wrap this up. I hope you're all doing well. G'night, or good morning, and take care. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

I missed this post, but glad to hear that you got back to feeling more like yourself finally! Sometimes it just takes some time!

It's all good, and thank you so much. It took a few days but I wasn't feeling blue anymore.

@MommyOfEli2013 Thank you so much. I guess sometimes a person needs a few days to shake the blues.

@Hannihar I wasn't away, just only posting when I either have time or feel like it. But the week I made this post, I had a case of the blues, so I wasn't really feeling myself.

Good morning! For me, I have found that if I let myself have those feelings for a day or two and cry if I need to, I start feeling better.

I've had a problem with crying when I need to for a while now, but I was finally able to let it out last week. Thank you.

@simone10 Eh, only so-so, but one of my favorite TV shows lifted my spirits later. I was feeling better by Wednesday though. Thank you so much.

I'm glad you're happy again. It's not fun being out of sorts with your emotions.

Thank you so much. I agree. It was the first time in quite a while that I had a "release cry" or whatever you want to call it.

@just4him I agree. I think my last one before this one was probably a few years ago. I'd *try* somehow, but I just couldn't, so I had to vent or whatnot to release it.

@tammys85 Those are necessary. I haven't had one in a while, but I always feel so much better when I do.

Well, I usually watch sad movies to have tears out, and then my depressive feelings will be released. That will make me feel better. You could have a try.

I had something minor finally push me to tears, but it was the first time I had a "release cry" in a while, as for some reason, I just wasn't pushed enough to it before (I guess). Thank you.

@Behindtheguitarbar It's not always easy for someone to cheer up; it took a few days for me to do so. But I'm fine now, thank you.
