umbrella or rain coat?

Or just a hoodie?
We (the twins and I) had this argument the other day. They are willing to carry an umbrella when we are outside for our daily walk.
But not to school.
They won't wear a raincoat.
Is it just me?
Which one do you prefer Umbrella or Raincoat?

@DocAndersen What I want to protect more is my hair, so a raincoat is useless.

@DocAndersen Short ladies are the worst for that and they hold their umbrellas at the level of my eyes.

A hat and I run like hell.
LOL. I have am umbrella in the car but its a lot of trouble, I have never owned a raincoat.

@DocAndersen Only when a lot of raining is falling, then I wait, when it drops less, without problems ... I'm not so old that I can not run
