Coffee All Year?

For all the coffee lovers here on MyLot, I have a question for you. Do you just drink coffee during the cold winter months or do you enjoy it all year long? I have always loved coffee and especially enjoy it during the winter months. The other day I woke up with an acid reflux attack. Needless to say, I did not want coffee that morning. Yesterday I only had two cups. I usually have 3-4 here at home throughout the morning. And today, I did not feel the need to have coffee at all. I'm up super early also. I got up at 5 am. This got me to thinking... And led to the question of, "Do you drink coffee all year or just during the winter?"

I drink coffee all year round. The stronger the better to be honest. I can not go to sleep unless I have had a cup of coffee. Most Brits prefer tea but I hate it. Green Tea makes me sick!

You would probably love the coffee from southern Louisiana. It's very rich and strong.

I drink all year round. Like you I have acid reflux and may only drink 1 or 2 cups if mine acts up. It usually causes an upset stomach.

@kareng I normally drink 4 cups in the morning. Sometimes after the second cup I get nauseated. I think it depends on what I ate for supper the night before.

I have to limit it when the acid reflux acts up. I take prescription medication for it but sometimes it doesn't help much.

@paigea Yep, you have to learn your limits. My husband is now having trouble sleeping but he won't give up his caffeinated soft drinks. It does make a difference.

@kareng lover. I just drink one cup a day. I minimize the consumption because i cannot sleep at night. It ruins my sleeping pattern. But i only drink brewed coffee. Because the commercial one makes me acidic.

I drink coffee all year. I get my first cup of coffee in the morning. It is nice to drink coffee in the cold winter months, but it is also nice to drink on the beach when the weather is warm.

I have to have multiple cups of coffee during the morning during the winter months. Summer, it is usually limited to one cup in the morning or none if acid reflux is acting up.

I have started drinking hot tea on occasion in the winter. I really like it and it is better for you than coffee.

I am a totally a tea or at times coffee person, but preferably tea. But since you have asked about the time when I can have it, I can have them for entire year, whether it's winters or summers.... It's something I can be up for, anytime anyone asks for

I prefer tea throughout the year. But one time in a day specially in the evening. But not all day. I think coffee is mainly better in winter.

Coffee all year round for me. We do not have winter since we are a tropical country. But I already limit my coffee to 1-2 cups a day sometimes none because of hyper acidity also.

I would love to have your climate :) And, yes, coffee does have a lot of acid in it also. Some brands more than others.

I used to be not a fan of coffee but I think I'm beginning to enjoy taking coffee now especially with mixes of cream. But I don't take coffee every day maybe just 4 times a week.

I enjoy a cup sometimes in mid-afternoon and also after dinner on some nights. It's not a routine thing though.
