Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. Greetings from the cool and cloudy Jersey Shore. It is currently 55 degrees F with an expected high of only 58. Just a little different from tropical Mexico! I fell asleep around 4 am last night and woke up at 5:30, 7:30, and 8 thanks to the crazy cat who kept smacking my face. I finally got up and out of bed at 8:30. I didn't want to sleep the day away in any case. I put a load of laundry in and made a list from the grocery store. My shampoo exploded in my toiletry bag making my toothbrush a casualty so I am going to have to go to the store without a shower or brushing my teeth. It will feel strange to me but people do it all the time so I guess I shouldn't think too much about it. I'll deal with it when I get home. No big plans today except to go to the grocery store, finish the laundry, and do some meal prepping for the week. What's everyone else up to today?

Welcome back to reality! I had a shampoo bottle burst once, and it wasn't pretty. Kitty is so happy to see you again!

@NJChicaa I learned to put liquids in freezer bags. Saves on a mess. I hope your bag survives. I'd rinse it by hand.

@DianneN I usually do but I woke up late last Sat and ran around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get out the door. I forgot a few things and didn't get to put that stuff in a ziploc. Oh well. I bought more shampoo this morning at the grocery store.

Welcome home! While you wéré basking in thé warmth, wé have extended winter for 2 weeks. Skiing in the mountains. Skied in quite a snowstorm today! Hot tub is calling me!

Good Morning! All is good in NY... We are doing our normal Sunday groceries, lunch, etc, but we also have massages scheduled which will be nice! Have a great day!

You are not that far from where I live. It looks like rain so I will not be doing too much outside. I have to run to the store. Hopefully today, I will get some writing done.

sorry about your cat waking you up and your shampoo fiasco, yikes! what types of food do you make for meal prep? I've wanted to do this more but I never am sure of what to prepare today my great-aunt is in town so I'll probably visit her for a bit
