The Wisdom Of Solomon!!!

This story of the Bible is very intriguing!! The story of the two women claiming the baby was theirs!! One of the women's babies had died, When they came before King Solomon, his decision was shocking we thought as children!!! He said Cut the baby in half and give half to one woman and half to the other!!! The one lady begged his Mercy to let it live and give it to the other!! The other lady said ok, that will be ok!! Solomon's judgement was give to the lady who begged for it to live!!! She is the mother!! This was a very clever way Solomon handled this!! What do you think of the decision of Solomon to say cut the baby in half??!! How would u say handle this case??!!

There was no better way in those times to handle the matter, now they would check DNA.

Yes, in these days and times dna would be a solution!!! His way cut to the chase and revealed the true nature of the one making the false claims!! And the mother said give it to the other, but let it live!!!

Wow that intense, I would not be happy if he told me to cut the baby in half at all and wouldn't do something like that. But it's good that the real mother got to take her baby.

Seems like he was testing their love!! It was shocking!! I might have said find the one who delivered the baby as a witness!! Powerful wisdom of the ancients!!

Solomon understood love and motherhood. He wisely figured out a way to figure out the truth. In a few minutes a complex trial was solved.

Clearly he was simply trying to weed out which woman was lying about the baby being theirs, and it worked. His tactic was extreme, but I sincerely doubt he actually had any intention of cutting the baby in half.

Wisdom was what Solomon asked for when God asked what he wanted, so that is what God gave. When Solomon suggested to cut the baby in half, he knew the real mother would not allow that, and would rather give the baby up than see it harmed.
