Telecom annoying service

I have my internet connection upgraded to a much faster speed. Since Monday this week they have been asking in confirming if we would like to have it done on May 1 and I said yes since its a holiday on that day we were there to wait for them. Same happened on Tuesday they called again to confirm and i said yes. Now comes May 1 we were waiting for the installers to call if they would come but to no avail no calls from them came until I tried following it up with them of the status but they just advised us to wait for the call from them. We waited but no call again. I called them again and told me it is ongoing they already cut my internet service to pave way for the upgrade but still no technicians came or called us to update us. It is just annoying to wait for them and wasted our time. We could have enjoyed our time than wait for nothing.

There is but the alternative has no facility in the building we are residing for now. I think this company had exclusive connections with the building owner so its kind of hard to just switch with the alternative.

@jstory07 I even inquired to these newly opened ISP they are offering much lower fees and faster speeds but unfortunately they could not anymore since the box they have installed near the building is already fully utilize so we have to wait for it to be vacated by their subscribers.

That sucks what telco is that? I upgraded to fiber optics last December with no problems, I just went to a PLDT office in an SM mall, brought an I.D. and a telephone bill. They checked if my payment was up to date and if my place was fiber ready. The modem was delivered and installed after 3 days and they did not even cut my old DSL. Hope they get yours installed the soonest.

Oh where in the same company. You have a good experience with them. I applied online last April 2, and was taken action last weekend only. They promised us to deliver last Sunday and they did not arrived so we moved it on May 1 so we can wait for them. Followed up on the phone twice and they could not update me what the status is except wait for the call from them.

@rsa101 I think it would be better if you go direct to their office in an SM mall and tell them about your bad experience, think they act faster that way, its also an advantage to be speaking direct face to face with a real person ( just a friendly suggestion)

That is true we adjusted our time for them but they cannot even tell us that they cannot deliver then it could have change the situation.

Yeah a simple text could have been better to inform us and not waste time waiting for them. They called me before May 1 twice to confirm but on the day I expect them to deliver not a single call or text came even I followed up with them.

Same here but the different is they not still diver the TVOLUTION that we purchase, I call them many times and they said they will delivered it here, but till now nothing, it's been 1 month now when I purchase the TVOLUTION

Oh I see you have the same problem. I think a simple text or call can be acceptable but they don’t do that.

Their call center is okay I guess but the people on the field is the problem. They may be overwhelmed delivering the service to their customer. But that is not an excuse for them to just ignore us. They should at least inform us if they could deliver or not.

@Janet357 they have competition actually but the problem with the building were staying is it’s exclusively connected with this telecom company. So we are at their mercy of that company. I could have shifted to the other company.

either they booked several households on that day, or not everyone showed up so they lacked manpower. our problem is with the cable. - always 'technical problem'

They could have informed us about it so our time would not be wasted waiting for them. We have plans about going somewhere but we decided to postpone it for their arrival. So its so annoying that they never came or informed us of their status.

Their customer service is really annoying. I hated when no one is solving my telecom problem. That's a total waste of time waiting for service that never came. You could have done something else.

This is a common complain everywhere. May be possible that they lack man power, but it's about the commitment. I think they should behave little more responsibly. It will be healthy for business.

I guess so a simple advice through text or call would have made it ok for us so we could have done something else for the day. But that simple act they could not do.
