....but it isn’t going to be me any longer! I called my insurance company to see if there’d be any savings with my new status. I was informed that not only would there be no savings, but my car insurance was going up over $100 every six months! They aren’t the only insurance company around, so I turned to the company I have my homeowners’ insurance with. Their verdict: about $600 a year cheaper. So I called the old company and told them that my new policy goes into effect tonight, so please cancel. And oh, my, did they want to try to save me money now that I’m walking out the door. But no. I had “accident forgiveness” and my rates still went up. In the two years I’ve had my current car the rates have gone from less than $600 every six months to nearly $950. With no accidents or tickets!!! So, farewell, old insurance company. Let someone else pay for your commercials. Here’s a song I like that sneaks in a lot of brand references:
