There is one thing which has been troubling me since many days. I believe on God and for me he is my loving father. But , if he exists why does he allow all the crime and terrorism that is widespread these days. Like the recent terror attacks in Srilanka which happened in God's own house.. Can anyone answer this?

It is a very long discussion. I believe God does not allow bad things in our lives. And even punishments are not God's vocabulary. I am thinking it is a consequences of sin.

I agree that God does not allow this. But what about the loss that the innocent people suffer. Does God compensate for this loss.

What happen in world all is God will. Life span of every person is fixed so one day they have to go. Blast accidents and illness all are only eyewash.

@1creekgirl I am not saying that you are wrong but we can't do any thing against will of God. If we can than we will stop all adversity and no one on this earth is sad and unhappy.

I disagree that everything that happens is God's will. What kind of monster would that make him? Satan is the one who came to steal and destroy and the fact that God gave us free will, we often participate in Satan's evil.

My 2 cents is that God has given us free will, choice - good or bad.

Well, the question you asked is something that can't be answered. I think these things can't be understood easily. I am one of those who believe good or bad, both are as per God's will... I take it as a lesson....

I have not the absolute truth, but in my opinion God has nothing to do with what we do down here. It is up to us to do things right, not to him. If we screw it up, knowing the consecuences, God will judge us in the proper time. He never forgets.

the answer to this question will be a cycle and it will go on and on. It is I think the freedom of choice he has given us. some of those people believe that they can be mightier than God.

I don't think that if some people think and behave badly and harm innocent people their acts are anything that should be allowed by God.

God doesn't cause crime, it happens because we humans have free will and have evil intentions. I think it breaks God's heart when those horrible things happen.

@amitkokiladitya Because he gave mankind the free will to choose evil or good.

Yes...I agree that this would be happening. But God is supreme and has all the powers to stop such insane acts. so why do they happen?

I believe it’s not His will. The tragedies or problem can be made by the people or come from people themselves. Life is not always a paradise. You’ll face challenges, you’ll win some and then also lose some. Also, for me we should avoid blaming. Blaming is always easier but it should not be on top of our minds.

@weevee18 I understand. But there has to be a logical explanation when the people who love him.get harmed brutally

@amitkokiladitya what if only Him can answer you fully? Not every question has to have an answer. Only God can judge us, it cannot be the other way around.
