Today’s song post from me could only be this song by Brenda Lee “Losing You”. Even though the song speaks of a love breaking apart the emotions and lyrics of the song greatly emphasize how I felt and how things turned out for me and Martin. Even without knowing it due to his illness which we had no idea about because he never was ill who knew? I was slowly losing him and now I wish I had known and perhaps things might have turned out differently but again I do believe fate stepped in.
“Losing You” was recorded in 1963 and made it on the charts in both the U.S. and the U.K. It was featured on Brenda Lee’s album Let Me Sing. It was ranked number 62 on Billboard magazine’s Top Hot 100 songs of 1963.

A beautiful voice like the great Patsy Cline. Patsy was like a big sister to Brenda and she often visited with Cline at her home when she was a teen. I always enjoy playing Rockin Around The Christmas Tree during the holidays.

I so loved her when I was a teen. Wonder what happened to her? She was so wonderful but could sing the saddest songs ever, Like " I'm Sorry" was my favorite back then.
