As I’ve written, I’m having a good time torturing...er...playing with my friend’s cats. I’m missing my own pets though! I wish I could take them on vacation with me but it’s just not feasible. I’d have no room left in my car if I did! I currently have 9 rats after a misgendered one gave birth to 10 surprise babies. I ended up keeping two boys and two girls from the litter. I’ll be honest that I didn’t plan to keep the girls, but my other female rat adores them. I couldn’t take her ‘nieces’ away from her. One of my other girls is an old lady - 3.5 years old! She has her own cage due to her age and badly impaired vision, she spends most her time snoozing. I also have an adorable 2 year old hamster. He knows he’s cute, which leads to some hilarious begging when I have food he wants. On the less fluffy side, I also have two Yellow Belly Slider turtles. They are crazy. I can’t feed them by hand anymore as they try to bite off my fingertips (not an exaggeration). They are named Mike and Leo but are actually girls. You can’t tell the sex of a turtle until they are at least a year old - when I found out they were females I just kept their names. They don’t care, as long as they are fed they are happy! I also have 2 dogs, but they are both mine and my mom’s. So basically, I have a zoo. So you have pets?
