My horses lost at the Derby

I bet the #8 and #14 horses: something with a T and Win Win Win. The 8 horse came in 4th. The race is being reviewed but I doubt that the stewards will change anything. In any case, there is no chance that either of my horses will win but I bet win/place/show.
The best I can hope for is that the #8 horse winds up showing which will probably earn me back my $2 bet for that.
Oh well. It was still fun to go to the off-track betting place today and to see that whole scene. I had never been there before.

I hae a buddy of mine who has the best luck when gambling, and he bets every year on the Kentucky Derby. He also seems to win something every year when he bets on the Kentucky Derby. I don't know how he is so good at it!

@NJChicaa Did they disqualify a horse? I didn't get a chance to see the Derby this year because of being at this paintball tournament here in Dallas.

If the 1st gets disqualified, does that mean horse #8 gets to be number 3? And you will have won some?

I used to love putting bets on horses. The most I ever won was $200 at Belmont when a long-shot came in.
