You should decide first what would you like to do in your life. If you did English literature there is surely a reason. What do you want to do? Do you prefer to teach or to work in an office?

@Teekaaa You should set your mind to decide exactly which kind of job you want to start before to get an additional degree.

Most of my classmates who took up this course went into teaching. Some became journalist and media practitioner. It's really up to you what field to get into as long as you will be happy in it. It's a different thing studying and different thing working.

B A courses usually are preparatory ones for higher learning like masteral and doctoral degrees. In my country, BA graduates may apply for government services as job orders. Teaching would not be an option, because they are required 16 units of education subjects. Some private schools may hire BA graduates, but as a stop-gap measure only. If higher qualified applicants would apply, chances are they are replaced immediately.
