I woke up with the TV on and a movie I had seen before. But this is a film to be watched many times.
The film is called Selma and it portrays the march in the 60s led by Rev. Martin Luther King for the civil rights movement.
The film is moving, really a documentary with parts in black and white where the real people are shown.
I could not stop watching it. Over 50 years ago I read a lot about the discrimination in the US and it hurt me. Now I still think that in spite having had Obama as a President, there´s a lot to do against racism there. And not only blacks are segregated. I just found out that the term African American has to do with Americans that have at least a partial ancestry of slaves. With that description, Presiden Obama is not an African American as his father was a Nigerian who never was a slave.
Now I´ll be back to mylotting. My country is receiving now many immigrants. I wonder if in the future, after I´m dead, we will have racial problems here.

Even though I don´t live in the US, every time I see the name Trump, it disgusts me

I haven't had the chance to watch that documentary, it sounds really interesting. It is hard to believe that in the 21st century we still deal with racism, and discrimination at a concerning level!
