Throwback to Winter 2017

This was not snow on the trees....this was just frost. In the winter of 2017 we had a lot of frost....as well as fog going on. I was able to capture this photo of it....I thought it just looked so pretty on the trees.
Have you ever seen frost like this before? Did you deal with bad fog in the winter before? Or are your winters more mild?
I was going through photos to decide if I wanted to share anything....and came across this photo and I was reminded of that winter.

Since I live in south Louisiana, we hardly ever get snow. However we do get some bad nights and days of fog from time to time.

Oh so lucky to not get snow that much! Sorry about the bad fog though that you get sometimes.

Yes, when I lived in Latvia many winters the temps fell even as low as -30 degrees C and everything looked just like that as well as ice covering bushes and icicles from all the houses.

I had seen such frost in England when I was there in November and December 2005.
And there was cold and fog as well.
And we do have fog a number of days in the Winters.

Since I live near the river I do see frozen fog. But not often.

Yes, that happens once and a while. We had fog here recently; but not too much in the winter. Our winters are always crazy. You never know what to expect.

This was the first time I have seen (at least that I remember) the frost like this....that's good that you don't have the fog too much in winter. Our winters can be very crazy too!
