This year Melanoma Monday lands on the first Monday of May. Which is today of course.
Melanoma is a a skin cancer that people get some times. It’s one of the deadliest types of skin cancers to have. So it’s important when out in the sun to wear sun screen this helps lower your risk of getting this type of cancer and other skin cancers. The sun is good for you too but too much is also very bad for you.

I have had 3 skin cancers (not the melanoma type) and I now know that it is important to use sun block. And sun block means, according to my doctor, to spray more every 1/2 hour, not once a day.

Everyone needs sun it’s good for your health and your mood. But too much sun is and for your skins so they say wear sing screen if your going out for more then just a few minutes at a time.

Good to have a day to remind people skin cancer can result from not using sunscreen. More than 200,000 US cases per year.
