Flashlight or phone?

I was working on a project in the basement yesterday. I have a headlamp (from back in the cave exploring days) that I was using.
I couldn't, however, use the headlamp as it ran out of batteries, and I didn't have any in the house.
So I switched to the flashlight that is part of my cell phone.
I realized in oh say 3 seconds, that it isn't an effective work light.
I went and got batteries for the flashlight at lunch.
So, Flashlight or Cell phone? Which do you use?

I use a flashlight since I don't have a cell phone.

I have no flashlight on my phone, soooo, I have several around the house, even a couple of those head type.

Try and use the awkward cell phone when trying to snake a piece from the bottom of a drain.
