Recent Ebay Purchases

Last weekend I bought myself a pair of leggings. They were supposed to be delivered soon but it appears they may be delayed. Last night, after picking the next book to read off my bookshelf, I went to ebay and bought some more books.
These are all books that I've been wanting to get anyway. I used Ebates (Now Rakuten) as well, and so will be getting some few pennies back for my purchases. I've been working towards the "BIG FAT CHECK" for awhile, and hopefully will be able to redeem it soon. It will only be a few dollars, but hey, that's still good.
These were both "Treat Yourself" (or, in my case, yourSHELF) purchases. When was the last time you treated yourself to something?
(I only paid about $25.00 all in all, so I'd say that's a good purchase)

Hmmm I treated myself to coffee two weeks ago. Since then nothing. I should buy myself something new to wear maybe for mother’s day.

It doesn't have to be an expensive item, either. I go to goodwill sometimes, but I have to remember to look harder for stains. I picked up a shirt I liked but there is a stain at the bottom, I didn't notice it before.
I had a Vanila Chai drink from Biscuitville a few days ago.

@ScribbledAdNauseum my brother gets though. we just had wendys last night as my brother didn't want to go out to eat and neither my mom or I wanted to cook.

I've gotten some really good book deals on Ebay. Now I have so many and am behind in my reading that I haven't gotten a new book in quite awhile.

I am trying to stick to historical fiction for the most part. It makes it harder to look at what's on my shelf. Most of it is historical fiction or thriller type books. It's only been the past two years that I've been buying physical copies of books again.
What shops on ebay do you get your books from? I get mine from mostly the thriftbooks shop on ebay, but I'm open to other shops if you know of any with good deals.
This will only be my second ever ebates check, I've had ebates since 2012.

@Marilynda1225 I used to read on my kindle all the time. Last year, and especially early this year, I decided to read more physical copies of books. I have plenty of shelf space left without needing to find more. Once I need to buy MORE shelves, I'll probably stop and go back to reading more e-books.

@ScribbledAdNauseum when it comes to buying books on Ebay I usually go with the lower price and free shipping. I don't care if the book is worn if it's one I really want to read. I tend to get most of my books from thriftstore types too but have gotten a few from private sellers.
Lately I've been downloading books so I haven't really purchased a physical book in awhile. Reading on my Kindle is easier on my eyes lately.

We all need to treat ourselves sometimes. I am a book lover and there are times when I just have to have a new book. Like you I usually, go to ebay as I can find the best prices on the books that I want there. It has been some time since, I have gotten any new book. The last one was a book of poetry from 1800. I got it at a great price less than $10 for a collectible book.

Oh wow, less than $10? That is an awesome deal. It was actually from the 1800's, or was it a reprint?
I received the leggings today. I really need to get myself a few more outfits, but I think I'll go to my tried and trusted goodwill for those.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It was actually published in 1812. It was a real find. There was a little mark on the cover, but nothing that bothered me. I love old books and have a thing about that old book smell.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Clothing is one thing that it's a hit or miss on ebay. Try Rainbow clothing store they have nice stuff cheap.
