Interview Went Well!

Yesterday I had a job interview at a child care centre about 10 minutes away from my house. The woman in charge was super nice, and we had a good conversation. She seemed very eager for me to come and work with them. If I do accept the offer, I will be starting in June. Now I have to figure out when and how I will let my current job know that I won't be coming back. Honestly, it would not be good for my mental health at all if I went back there, and I realize that now. I am hoping I work part time at the new job so I can still have time to spend at home and to set up my own daycare operation as well. I still plan to be my own boss in the very near future. I should know later today or tomorrow the exact date in June that I will start. (Photo is of me at home just a couple days ago.)

Do you want to leave your current job or not?

Yes, otherwise I would not be going for a job interview. My previous posts have talked a lot about this.

@amitkokiladitya Because I do not like letting people down or making them mad at me.

I really hope that they give you a call telling you're hired. Good luck with that! Though I think that job is already yours!

@MissNikki I knew your job interview would go well. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't make a good impression. You're nice, experienced and passionate about this line of work. I know it won't be easy telling the other work that you're not coming back. But remember, you're doing all of this for you. As nice as you are and as much as you don't want to let people down, you are doing this for you. That's way more important. This time now is for Nikki.

@MissNikki I understand. It's just your nature. I'm sure over time, that guilt may become a memory and hopefully not feel it anymore.
