I watched a show last night called Chernobyl on HBO last night and it was a good view. It is a five part miniseries that just released on Monday May 6th. It is based on the true story that took place on April 6th 1986. If your old enough to remember this happening it's an interesting watch. I know that I have learned a little that I didn't know just in the first episode. If you're unfamiliar with this story, it was a nuclear power plant in northern Soviet Ukraine. During power failure tests something went wrong that lead to an explosion causing the most disastrous nuclear power plant accident in history. If you watched it what did you think about the first episode?

I haven't seen the episode but I certainly remember the event. The consequences were felt across a huge area and even involved nuclear pollution in Wales, where sheep farmers discovered that their flocks were contaminated.

Yea, I remember hearing about it back then and kind of remember it, that is why I am watching this to remember and learn what I didn't know back then
