Quick Dentist Appointment....

Rupert, Idaho

Today Eli was supposed to go get his cavity taken care of, but he was too scared/nervous so instead of the laughing gas he is going to have to be sedated. So, instead of going to school tomorrow....he's going to be going back to the dentist. I know he is going to not like this even more than the laughing gas so not sure how that will go. If you have kids....do they hate going to the dentist just as much? How about yourself?

I was just speaking with my daughter about this subject! Aubrey had a teeth cleaning today, which she never let them do before. She was so proud, letting the technician clean her teeth for the first time! Both her mother and father were in the room, to keep Aubrey calm.

Well I am glad to have shared about it then! That's great that she finally let them clean her teeth! My son has never had an issue with that part luckily. That's good that they were able to be there to keep her calm

@MommyOfEli2013 My children were OK for dental cleanings. But my daughter bit the dentist, when he tried to work on her teeth! :(

@kobesbuddy That's good that they did okay for cleanings....I understand, working on teeth is more problematic!

I sure hope so too, he is a very stubborn kid so I am afraid it won't go well. I understand that....and hope you can get that taken care of soon!

That's good that you don't mind it, I have a fear of going myself. I'm sorry he never liked it, seems that most kids don't. I am hoping he will do better with it tomorrow!

I am sorry too...but I am sure many other kids do too and end up needing sedated. Hopefully he'll let them do it once he's relaxed.

Mine didnt like it but they were not bad. Once the sedation kicks in he will be fine.

That's good that they weren't too bad.....I sure hope the sedation will help. Apparently he won't be fully out so it is hard to say what will happen.

@MommyOfEli2013 I do not have human kids but I hate going to the dentist. I would just go to the dental hygienist but the dentist I have now is smart and made sure I go see him the same day i see the dental hygienist. I still do not like going.
